How to Use SignalGPT

Getting Started

SignalGPT is an AI-powered signal processing assistant that helps you work with radio frequency (RF) data and GNU Radio.

  • Navigate to the Chat UI tab to start a conversation
  • Type your signal processing questions or requests in natural language
  • SignalGPT will provide responses and may generate visual diagrams
  • All your conversations are automatically saved and organized

Feedback System

Rate SignalGPT responses using the thumbs up/down buttons. Your feedback helps improve the AI's performance over time.

Available Blocks

The Available Blocks tab shows all GNU Radio blocks you can use in your signal processing workflows.

  • Browse blocks by category (Sources, Sinks, Processing, etc.)
  • Use the search function to find specific blocks quickly
  • Click on any block to copy its label for use in chat
  • View detailed parameters and connection information

Canvas

The Canvas shows real-time visual diagrams of your signal processing workflows.

  • Automatically updates as you chat with SignalGPT
  • Shows flow diagrams with sources, processing blocks, and sinks
  • Visual representation helps understand signal flow
  • Pan and zoom to explore complex diagrams
